In an era of school budget cuts, art education is often the first to go.  Many of today's teachers are not comfortable teaching art to their students.  Studies show that learning art is associated with gains in math, reading, and critical thinking.  Now, there's an easy way to give your child the gift of an education in art.  ArtDawg is a full-color, 28-page magazine created especially for kids in elementary and middle school.  Each issue explores the work of a master artist, contemporary artist and also explores a career path in visual art.  Included are projects related to the artist's work, fun puzzles and activity pages.
